Thorough training and instruction should be done for anyone who needs to operate any types of boom lift EWPs.
Boom type elevating work platforms over 11m legally require a High Risk Work Licence to operate.
Other types of EWP’s such as Scissor Lift training, Vertical lift training and Boom lift under 11m ticket can meet WHS Regulation 2011 requirements by completion of Yellow Card Training in Sydney, or other locations.
EWP training in Wetherill Park or other locations should be conducted by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and/or EWPA Yellow Card provider. The RTO should also be accredited by Workcover NSW and approved by ASQA for delivery of Units of Competency.
Training organisations should be flexible enough to offer you training courses whenever and wherever you need it. This means they can work within your schedule to ensure that you don’t interrupt projects because of a training session.
Many EWP training companies offer scheduled public courses at their own training facility and also training at your site if you have your own EWP equipment and a group of people to be trained.
Choose a reputable accredited training provider that can offer you training which best suits your EWP training needs and one which is cost-effective.
